Simchat Torah Readings

Many of our members have taken the opportunity to chant Torah for the High Holiday services.  Simchat Torah is the final service for the holiday season and offers an easier opportunity for anyone wanting to begin chanting Torah.  We offer single verses of Torah to anyone who wishes to chant.  to participate since we chant the very end of Deuteronomy and the beginning of Genesis.  You can find your verse here and listen to it and easily memorize it.  Contact Katherine Kohrman at ritual@congadathisrael.org if you would like to claim one of these readings yourself.
