We invite all women members to join our club. We choose a variety of genres of literature to discuss. Even if you haven’t read the book, consider joining us and helping to choose our next book. We usually meet bimonthly. If interested, please email Amy Greenfield at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Israeli folk dancing has come to Adath Israel!! In Israel itself, there are thousands of dancers who enjoy Israeli dancing—known as Rikudei Am (dances of the people)—they meet regularly and have huge repertoires of dances. In our congregation, a group of budding enthusiasts are gathering at the synagogue to learn a few of these traditional dances. We meet twice monthly on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. No prior experience is necessary. We start with simple dances that can be learned easily. It’s fun! It’s lively, and it’s aerobic! For more information, and to be put on the group’s mailing list, contact Katherine Kohrman at email@example.com.
