We are a small synagogue in southern Newtown with an active, participatory membership. Although we follow Conservative tradition, we are not affiliated with any movement, leaving us the flexibility to determine ritual and organizational matters to the best interests of our congregation.

As an independent congregation we also participate in activities sponsored by the three Jewish Federation organizations in our area:

• The Jewish Federation in Danbury
• Jewish Community Center/UJA Federation in Bridgeport
• Jewish Communities of Western Connecticut in Southbury

We are also participants in many of the secular activies that take place in Newtown, including the annual Labor Day parade.
