Yom Kippur Reading PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Many of our members have taken the opportunity to chant Torah for the High Holiday Services.  You can speak to Bonnie Goldstein if you want to practice one of these readings yourself and familiarize yourself with the portion.  The Yom Kippur Torah Portion covers Leviticus 16.  They are divided six (seven if Yom Kippur falls on Shabbat) aliyot and are followed by the Maftir from Numbers (BeMidbar) 29:7-11.

The Haftorah for Yom Kippur is Isaiah 57:14-58:14 and is included in its entirety.
